Campaign Story

My name is Kelsi and I have endometriosis, commonly referred to as endo for those who may not know. Endo is a common health condition in women where tissues grow outside of the uterus, causing pain and, often, infertility. Also my left fallopian tube is 0% functioning & my right fallopian tube is less than 50% functioning.(I underwent laparoscopic lysis of adhesions and chromopertubation (January 2022) I can choose to have my left tube removed but not removing both puts the IVF success rate at under 50%. Leaving my right tube could lead to risk of ectopic pregnancy. (Both tubes removed raises the percentage to over 50%)
My partner and I have tried to get pregnant for the last 5 years but have been unsuccessful. Conceiving naturally is something my body will not be able to process/handle. Leading the doctors to fertilize my egg themselves outside the body.

Now, as we process the grief of ending my ability to conceive a child naturally we look optimistically toward our future with IVF Treatment. I have survived this debilitating medical condition because I am a fighter; however, my fight is not over.
I am asking you to help us on this new path by donating to our fundraiser. We are seeking assistance with the financial
burden of IVF and we would be honored if you could help. $5 would mean the world to us, and help me fight for our future family. Thank you for reading!

(1st surgery is scheduled for May 19th 2023)
